“Some people follow horses, some stock, some sports…you follow houses.” – the husband, “B”
That is a quote my husband said about me around 4 years ago. He is right, I love houses. I love looking at homes and seeing what potential they could have. See how they can be fixed to become the perfect family home. There is always something to learn in the Real Estate market…I LOVE THAT!
How did I come to Real Estate, and making this my dream job. My “career” and schooling were in Information Systems…what does that mean anyways? Well my specialty was a job called Business Analyst. I said I made up “Christmas Lists” for clients in regards to what they needed in their computer systems. I loved learning what people did and what they believed they needed to working with them to figure out what would help them most, but the computer ‘stuff’, the sitting in the office, & the being away from my family traveling was not for me. I see working in Real Estate as a way to leverage my gift for understanding what people need, through conversations and learning who they are, and what you may want to finding the place that will allow you to live every day. A place to grow, love, have fun and make your own.
Becoming a Real Estate Broker has been something my husband and I have planned for me for years. We always knew when our youngest started elementary school I would go and work on my professional dreams. Here I will share my ups and downs and the craziness that is the market here in the Front Range of Colorado…
